Video: How the system works and typical faults

This video explains in general how a Lucas 5AS, 10AS or ALM immobiliser works, how it communicates with the engine control unit and which typical problems can occur.

Alternatively, open the video directly on YouTube.

Plug and play

For suitable 5AS applications, a replacement module can be connected without modifying the vehicle wiring loom.

Retain original functions

Depending on the system, the solution can be integrated into the original housing so that central locking and alarm functions remain available.

Individually adapted

Existing vehicle data is read and processed to suit the relevant control unit.

Which solution is possible?

Depending on the vehicle, engine management and immobiliser type, we may provide a separate replacement module, a modification inside the original housing or a repair of the existing unit.

For selected 5AS systems, the module can be connected directly to the original plug. For 10AS, ALM, Pektron, BCU and 27VT applications, the appropriate solution depends on the exact fault and the functions that must be retained.
